Sycamore Valley Park

2101 Holbrook Dr, Danville, CA 94526, United States

Sycamore Valley Park, which is located at Holbrook Drive and Camino Tassajara. Nestled in the hustle and bustle of the city is a small oasis, offering a much-needed respite from the concrete jungle. This park is home to a variety of wildlife, ranging from Western bluebirds and gray foxes to Pacific tree frogs. The grassland preserve supports these animals, as well as providing a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The land on which the park sits has a long and rich history. Once home to the Bay Miwok native peoples, it was later used for grazing and farming by local settlers who established the Sycamore Valley as a highly productive agricultural region.
